Methoden der empirischen Kommunikationsforschung
Eine Einführung
Methods of empirical communication research. An introduction
Abstract #
This standard textbook introduces the essential methods of empirical communication research. It is aimed particularly at students of communication and media studies who are gaining their first experience with empirical methods. The book serves as an in-depth companion to introductory lectures and as a practical guide for method exercises. Key features of this textbook are its ease of understanding, application orientation, and clear structure. For the eighth edition, the volume has been revised and expanded, especially with regard to automated data collection and analysis methods, reflecting the growing importance of “Computational Communication Science” approaches. Examples have been updated, and attention has been given to gender-sensitive language.
